Faceplate ring for G3 and SN2 chuck - 130mm

Faceplate rings are a safe and secure holding method, when first mounting a blank ready for turning the back of the bowl. Using a faceplate ring rather than a separate faceplate offers several advantages. Convenient, the ring fits directly onto your chuck (with the appropriate jaw fitted). There is no need to remove the chuck from your lathe. It is a strong mounting method, even with irregular sized wood and rough cut surfaces. Most importantly, using a faceplate ring guarantees accuracy between the outside and inside of the bowl. Turning takes place on the same threaded item thus assuring complete concentricity.

Three sizes available:
• 50 mm fits standard 50 mm jaws, faceplate diameter 75 mm
• 100 mm fits 100 mm jaws, faceplate diameter 125 mm
• 130 mm fits 130 mm jaws, faceplate diameter 156 mm
